These stunning pictures show three giant poppies which have been painted on pyramids along Scotland’s busiest motorway.
The eye-catching flower tributes were created on the famous grass pyramids close to the M8 near Bathgate in West Lothian.
Poppyscotland, the charity supporting ex-servicemen and women, painted the beautiful tribute to raise awareness of the Royal British Legion’s annual Poppy Appeal.
The 30ft decorations come ahead of this year’s Remembrance Day on November 11. The initiative has been running every year since 2011.
The prominent position near Scotland’s busiest motorway has proved to be successful in raising awareness of the annual fundraising campaign, run by Poppyscotland.
Poppyscotland display the poppies each year so as many people as possible can see the iconic emblem during their main fundraising period.
