The lawns are suffering a little with the lack of rain fall, receiving only 1.4mm of rain in 19 days in September in the South East.

The hourly natural water loss when it is warm and sunny could be up to 6mm per hour.

Your lawn is as tough as boots so don’t panic too much but be prepared and get it mown on a regular basis in multi directions and maybe scarified and aerated.  Think of the exercise you will get in the process!
