It’s a bit of a North / South divide at the moment with lots of rain and worm casts on lawns in the North whilst parts of the South East remain still under what could only be referred to as drought conditions.

The Earthworms will commence throwing their annoying soil casts on the surface of your lawn from late August if there has been recent rainfall until spring time, with activity only reducing when we get some ground frosts.

The Worms will come to the surface of the lawn to eat the tasty thatch and fibre and humus that has built up in the root zone over the summer months and also the autumn leaves from the trees.

You can deter their casting activity with CastClear – the only retail Lawn Worm Cast Suppressant and Deterrent.

Available from The Lawn Shop.  CastClear, the solution to lawn worm casts.
